- It is helpful to be a self-sufficient outdoor climber, or to be confident in your ability to find a mentor. Or, just be down with hiking that weekend and show up for bonding anyways :)
Please note - No official trips will be coordinated!
You must be able / willing to find your own climbing partners and be a self-sufficient climber. No top rope or learn to lead trips will be as part of this event.
We will be hosting a climbers open cabin at Camelot to
1) Celebrate the life and times of Sir Benjamin Kessel
2) School of Rock Reunion - All alums welcome!
3) Promote current leader bonding and relationships
4) Help incoming leaders feel welcome :)
The main gathering will be Sat. Sept 21, with food provided that night and for breakfast the next Sun. morning. (Waffles! Yum!). Adventures should be informally arranged, as there are no official trips. While most will likely be climbing trips, hiking and other adventures are welcome too! An activity coordination spreadsheet will be sent out to trip participants in advance to help folks find adventure buddies.
Step 1 - Pay for event
Cost: Food fee of $8 and sleeping fee (either $5 camping or $10 inside the Camelot building). pay food fee and camping here + save receipt number for google sheet
Step 2 - Copy/ Paste Receipt number
Please put your receipt number into the Receipts, Rideshare and Activity Partner Finder google sheet
Step 3 - Fill out the rideshare and activity finder tabs
Step 4 - Fill out the food form.
So I buy appropriate quantities for the hungry masses.
